My quilting instructor gets a big kick out of taking action photos of me making my first quilt. She says it's so my baby can one day see how hard I worked making a quilt for him or her. It wouldn't have occurred to me, but I guess it's pretty cute.
I'll update this slideshow with more images as I make more progress on the quilt. At the current pace, I should be done by the end of May.

Uh, as it turns out, I did NOT keep up the pace that would have had me done by the end of May. Funny how having a baby will slow you down. Although I am getting closer to finishing now, I added a few photos of the progress I've made quilting to this slideshow. After the initial quilting around the large blocks, which I did in 2009, I just now started the nitty-gritty process of quilting inside the squares. I hope to finish by the end of the month. . .
